The 15th International Conference on Modeling and Applied Simulation, took place in September 26 – 28 2016, in Larnaka, Cyprus. The MAS Conference concentrates on applied Modeling & simulation (M&S) and computer technologies; application fields include logistics, supply chain management, production control, business and industrial organization.

In this conference, Dr Christos Dimopoulos (EUC) has presented a paper titled: “Modelling Trauma Physiology for Large Crisis Management“, regarding  a simplified mathematical model of physiological evolution for patients involved in physical trauma incident scenarios, which formalizes the dynamics, operating standards and practices of medical response and the main emergency service in the chain of emergency management during a Major Incident. This presentation was implimented as part of the Impress-FP7 project work.
