CERIDES – Excellence in Innovation & Technology is happy to announce that the project ‘Tele-WOSH’, which was submitted under the Call ‘CONCEPT-COVID/0420‘ of the Program ‘Proof of Concept for Technological and Knowledge Applications‘ of the Cyprus Research & Innovation Foundation (ΙδΕΚ) RESTART 2016-2020 framework, has successfully passed the evaluation phase and will be called to sign a research funding contract.

One of the main work-related challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic was that people were ‘forced’ to work from home having no time to prepare a home-based working place. The main aim of the project is to find simple solutions for employers and employees to face the hazards related to this multidimensional phenomenon of teleworking and yet to solve occupational health and safety issues related to this form of work. This project is concluding to the development of technological solutions and know-how applications.

Dr. Cleo Varianou – Mikellidou, Research Associate of CERIDES, will be coordinating the project implementation and managing the CERIDES production team, which will consist of CERIDES Research Associates Ms. Olga Nicolaidou and Mr. Paris Messios, as well as the Director and co-Director of CERIDES Professor George Boustras and Dr. Christos Dimopoulos respectively.
