Dr. Christos Dimopoulos (Technology) completed his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Control Engineering at the University of Sheffield. He has 15 years of experience

in the academic sector. He is currently holding the positions of Associate Professor of Computer Science & Engineering, Dean of the School of Sciences, and Director of the Decision Support & Systems Optimisation research laboratory (DSSO) in European University Cyprus. His research focuses on the development of interdisciplinary Decision Support Systems in industrial environments using operational research and artificial intelligence methodologies. He has significant experience as Scientific Coordinator or Research Collaborator in a large number of projects. His research accomplishments also include the publication of a considerable number of journal articles and book chapters.
