CERIDES – Excellence in Innovation and Technology, participated in the two-day seminar which took place in Larnaca from 29 – 31 January 2020. The seminar’s scope and aim was to answer: How does the management approach OSH and what is the importance of good leadership? Dr Cleo Varianou Mikellidou, Research Fellow of CERIDES, presented ‘Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems and leadership approaches’. There were around 60 trade union leaders from 13 EU countries who discussed the influence of leadership on the wellbeing of workers. The seminar, organized by Krifa (Denmark), the World Organization of Workers (WOW) in cooperation with the European Centre for Workers’ Questions (EZA) and supported by the European Commission.
