Centre of Excellence in Risk & Decision Sciences & European University Cyprus had the privilege to welcome to #CERIDES premises Mr Manuel de la Iglesia Anglada, Deputy Chief of Mission and Consul of the Embajada de España en Chipre/Embassy of Spain in Cyprus.
Mr. Manuel de la Iglesia Anglada was welcomed by #CERIDES members:
Dr. Christos Dimopoulos, Associate Professor at #euc, and Director of Science in Civil Protection at #CERIDES, Mr Pierantonios Papazoglou, EUC Research Associate in Civil Protection & Safety of Responders, and Research & Strategy Manager at #CERIDES, Dr Pericles Leng Cheng, Lecturer at #euc, Research Associate and Head of Technical Development at #CERIDES.Following a presentation of the extensive research, industrial and educational activities conducted by #CERIDES, potential common areas of interest for future collaboration were discussed and a specific action plan was agreed between the parties.
CERIDES maintains significant and very productive collaborations with Spanish institutions and organisations such as the Pau Costa Foundation, Grupo ETRA and Policía Nacional, fostered through the joint participation in European-funded projects like SEMEDFIRE, ResAlliance, PRESERVE, and POP-ART.
