Dr. Christos Dimopoulos, co-Director of CERIDES, participated in the ‘Train The Trainers Simulation Workshop‘, which took place in Zaragoza, Spain, from the 16th until the 20th of September 2019. The Workshop is part of the Erasmus+ project ‘SAFED’, which focuses on the design of training and simulations that will assist firefighters in their work.
During the training event the following activities were implemented:
– 17th of September: Reduced vision orientation training, DPZ Fire Service facilities in La Almunia de doña Godina (Zaragoza).
– 18th of September: Surface water rescue training activities, in Murillo de Gállego (Zaragoza).
– 19th of September: Participation in “Prevention week” activities, organized by City Council Fire Service and Civil Protection (Zaragoza).
