
European University Cyprus / CERIDES researchers provided strong scientific contributions during the implementation of SafeHeraklion 2025, the 11th International Conference on Civil Protection & New Technologies.
SafeHeraklion 2025 brought together Civil Protection stakeholders from Αcademia, Local Governments, Central Administration, Private Sector and Voluntary Organizations, both from Greece and abroad. It provided the framework for the implementation of fruitful discussions and the development of synergies in the domain of Civil Protection, with a long-term potential.

European University Cyprus / CERIDES were physically represented in SafeHeraklion 2025 through Dr Christos Dimopoulos, Director of Science in Civil Protection at CERIDES, and Mr Katsaros Evangelos, Research Associate and Expert in Civil Protection at CERIDES.
