Cleo Varianou Mikellidou, PhD Candidate, Research Associate has a BSc in Physics (University of Ioannina) and a MSc in Safety, Health and Environment (Salford University). Currently, Cleo is a PhD candidate in Occupational Safety & Health at European University Cyprus. Her research interests focus on Risks in Energy Related Critical Infrastructure. Cleo has worked as Health and Safety Consultant for six years. During these years, she gained experience in training, advising and consulting companies on how to be in line with the Health and Safety legislation, maintaining a safe working environment at their workplace and how to gain European standards as ISO9001,OHSAS18001, EMAS, ISO 14001. Additionally, she has involved in the OIRA European Project (Online Interactive Risk Assessment) in collaboration with the Cyprus Safety & Health Association and Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance. Since October 2015, she is working as a Research Associate for the Center of Risk, Safety and the Environment (CERISE).
