During HOPE’s Final Planning Conference the participants had the opportunity to discuss and agree the final details of the Full-Scale Exercise (FSX) which is due to take place between the 9th and the 13th of October 2023 in Yerevan, Armenia. Participants were briefed on the planned injects, the logistics, and the safety & security considerations (discussion on these topics supported by Mr. Evangelos Katsaros), as well as on the topic of exercise evaluation (the evaluation framework was presented by Dr. Christos Dimopoulos). The different programs (Observers, VIP) which will take place during the FSX were also discussed.

During the last day of the Conference the participants had the opportunity to visit the main exercise sites. They were also offered a very informative tour to the famous Garni Archaeological Site, as well as to the Armenian Genocide Museum, which is one of the cultural heritage sites that will be used during the exercise implementation.

The event was hosted by Ms. Armine Hayrapetyan, Acting Rector of the Armenian Crisis Management State Academy and Representative of the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations in foreign countries and International Organisations.
