The impact of weak signals management on occupational safety and health, emphasizing on the elimination of occupational accidents, work-related diseases, dangerous occurrences and other unwanted incidents.
Olga is a PhD Candidate in Occupational Safety & Health at European University Cyprus. Her research interests focus on the impact of weak signals management in the prevention of catastrophic incidents. She holds a BEng in Civil Engineering, an MSc in Water and Environmental Engineering and an MBA. Olga is currently a Labour Inspection Officer at the Department of Labour Inspection of the Ministry of Labour, Welfare and Social Insurance.
She is a member of Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber of Cyprus (ETEK) and since 2013 is a member of the Board of Cyprus Safety and Health Association (CYSHA).
Olga has wide experience in workplace inspections, health and safety legislation enforcement and investigations of occupational accidents and dangerous occurrences, especially in Construction and Manufacturing Sectors.
Since October 2016, she is a Research Associate at CERIDES.
