CERIDES and the HEUREKA consortium is very happy to announce the results of the #HackHEUREKA hackathon.
The judging panel of #HackHEUREKA, consisting of representatives from all HEUREKA consortium partners, have unanimously decided that the following prizes will be awarded:
1st Prize
Submission Title: REDI: A prototype for a conversational agent (chatbot) that strengthens the preparedness of communities potentially affected by natural disasters
Candidate: Ms. Lambrini Papargyri
The idea presented by Ms. Papargyri was considered to be very innovative, with high-impact potential in the field of civil protection. The Middle East civil protection stakeholders found it particularly interesting, and readily identified its potential application to their operational environment which faces significant challenges.
